I remember last year in april I wanted some extra cash flowing into my life and I was hearing a lot about people making money with Youtube from home. It was at a moment in my life where I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do yet.

Anyway doing some investigation on how I can make money with youtube I found a website called click bank where you can sign up for free and recommend other peoples products and get a commission. I thought it was a great idea, they give you your own affiliate URL that if anyone clicked on your URL and made a purchase you would make some money.

I thought I might as well try it out and if I make money thats cool, I can use it towards advertising my primary business and if I didn't it was okay too because everything I was doing was free.

I came up with these products to promote with youtube

* A coy fish pond creation manual
* Caricature Drawing Course
* Jump Manual to Increase Your Vertical

I didn’t do much to promote these courses, just did some power point presentations, recorded it with camtasia and sat back. I didn’t make any sales immediately but soon after a while I got a sale and was like hey this stuff really works.

My First Sale With YouTube

After I made that sale I must have been really busy or something because I never did check back on it, kind of just let it go on its own for a while.

It wasn’t until actually a few weeks ago I remembered about my click bank account and had to recover my password because I forgot everything. I was very suprised to see my account had got up to $115.21 which was totally amazing because it was making me money without me being around.

I wish I did more videos now that I think about it because I could have been making a killing, so now i'm dedicated to increasing my paycheck with youtube which will be a nice new stream of income.

The secret to getting more money with your videos is to use leverage. I used a program called tube mogul that sent my videos to other video directories as well so my videos can be seen at many other places.

It's a cool feeling to wake up to money when you did nothing that day to earn it, but actions you do in the past are still working hard for you. To me that is wealth and freedom.
