I’m a big believer in making use of article distribution services since I’ve been using them to build links for over a year now. But not all of these services are equally effective. There are some that are very effective while others may be a waste of your time.

It distributes the spun articles to hundreds of article sites and as many as as 5 links in each article. You are allowed to include two back links in the resource box and two more in the article body. You can also include an embedded YouTube video which includes an anchor text link to the video.

ArticleRanks has been getting more and more effective each month I use it it. Lately it appears to be the most effective article distribution service and it is only $37 per month as of this writing (that makes it the least costly of the services featured here.) Like Unique Article Wizard above (and Article Marketing Automation below) you can also embed YouTube videos with this service. If you are a video marketer this can be a great way for getting better SERPS for your YouTube videos.

Article Marketing Automation is another article marketing service that I have had good success using as a link building tool. A lot like Article Ranks it’s more of a “blog network” style article distribution service which means basically that your spun articles go up on many blogs all over the web. Often I believe it can be much better to have your articles on blog sites rather than on article directories.

It’s important to know that these tools are more for building up links than for getting direct traffic. These services let you build many backlinks with a single spun article and if the process is repeated these back links build up and can give you great search engine rankings for high value search terms.
